What I Learned This Week

I learned my son has excercise induced asthma, but we got it taken care of before his hershey track meet today. He tried his hardest but he didn't place in his race.

I learned after taking care of my neighbor's 3 kids besides my own for several days I am definitely not cut out to be a mom of 6. Some days I wonder if I am cut out to be a mom of 3.

I have learned that I forgot how much I used to love to excercise before I had kids. We are going to start going to the track every night even though we are not training for my son's track meet anymore. We can all use the excercise.

I have learned it is harder to teach a girl to ride a bike than boys. If you say anything wrong to them they think you are yelling at them and start crying.

If you want to do this, Jo-Lynne at Musings of a Housewife does this every Tuesday.

I agree with your mom of 6 lesson. When my 3 kids each have a play date over, it's mostly good but I'm definitely glad when their mom comes to pick them up.

I have 3 kids but most of our friends have 5-8 kids! LOL. Needless to say the kids way outnumber the adults every time.
As far as the exercise goes. That's great! Keep it up!
Blessings,
Kim

Bummer about the asthma! I have plain old asthma and it stinks. I also heartily agree about 6 kids... I think 5 is my limit. I'm always slightly dazed after a playdate, but love seeing friends and having worn-out kids. :) Take care!

Girls are sooo moody! It's a fine line to walk until they're about 17!
Good luck with going to the track:)

Learning to ride a bike is so awesome. Oh...the memories and the thrill of seeing them ride away...by themselves...probably into a bush. Mine forgot to stop!

I could never handle 6 kids, I can barely take care of 2. But does my husband count as my third child?
We too, need to start exercising.
